BERLIN SKETCHBOOK II
Unique and captivating insights from the artist's private visual art diaries.

Welcome to the Garry Orriss Berlin Sketchbook (2). The artworks appearing here form one of 23 personal visual art diaries. Often producing a work a day - each diary is unique and gives us an in depth view and personal insight into the thoughts, feelings and creativity of the artist. This book has (114) artworks and is based on a Garry Orriss stay in Germany from the 1st of July 1997 to the 5th of August 1998. All the artworks appearing here are in chronological order and measure 52cm x 35cm unless otherwise stated. There are many personal thoughts and observations written by Orriss in German, English or Chinese, many of which have been translated for this webpage. We have also included below each image the date, title and relevant information recorded by the artist on the work as well as the medium or technique used. Please note that the pages out of this sketchbook diary are Not for Sale, thought it is possible due to certain requests, to have an artwork made from a diary-page into a registered and traceable work of art. Any commissioned artwork is a 'Work on Paper' and will measure 76cm x 56cm - 30" x 22" inches. It is hand signed, dated, embossed with one of the artists studio embossing seals and comes with a tamper proof high security hologram. The artwork is traceable and also has a COA ID number and Artwork Identification Code. The owners details are registered on the official owners list at Goart-Authenticated and at the Garry Orriss studios. For more information see our Price list or contact us in Zone 2.

If you look at both and you understand what you're looking at, then you're already there, but if you can go beyond that what you're looking at and see something that you haven't seen before then that's where learning starts.
